Great Lakes Poodle Club of Chicago Regional Specialty 2026

The Great Lakes Poodle Club of Chicago hosts four specialty shows in two days — its 98th, 99th, 100th, and 101st — October 24–25, 2026, at the Francis Field Youth Building in New Lenox, Illinois. Each show is a separate event with its own judge and its own entry (100-entry limit per show), covering all three Poodle varieties with inter-variety competition. The Sunday-morning 100th show is the milestone: its Best of Breed winner takes home a PCA .999 fine silver medallion plus $100 cash. Saturday morning's 98th show is judged by Sandy Bingham-Porter; Saturday afternoon's 99th by Timothy Catterson; Sunday morning's milestone 100th by Barbara L Burns (provisional/permit judge) — its Best of Breed winner receives a PCA .999 fine silver medallion plus $100 cash; and Sunday afternoon's 101st by Mary Ellen Meyer. Every show offers the AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS Best of Breed and NOHS Reserve Best of Breed), inter-variety competition across Toy, Miniature, and Standard Poodles, and Best Puppy and Best Bred-By-Exhibitor in show.
