The English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association — the parent club for the breed — hosts its 2026 National Specialty October 14–17, 2026, at the Linn County Fair & Expo Center in Albany, Oregon. Despite the club’s field-trial name, the National Specialty week is a full conformation event — four days of breed judging (all classes judged on a ramp) with sweepstakes, Juniors, obedience, rally, and the NOHS. The field side of the week is the AKC spaniel hunt test on Monday, October 12, at Luckiamute Valley Pheasants in Monmouth, Oregon.
